Hi, we have the jenx monkey chair and the giraffe standing frame. DS is quite happy in them. They were expensive though, we paid about £1000 for the two

Hi jbadgirl, we're waiting on our whale chair, it's due to be delivered any day now.
We've already got a monkey standing frame which dd HATES.

How's your ds doing ?

Ds is doing ok, still not sure about his vision, going to london eye hospital for tests when we get an app. his development is still very behind, had a few smiles and he has rolled once. He is nearly 11 months and it seems to have flown by!

How are you chonky?

We're OK thanks My dd has just learnt to roll from back to front, she's been rolling front to back for a while, but apart from that no other motor development. Her vision is v.v.v.slowly improving.

Let me know how you go with the whale chair. I have a feeling that dd wil complain bitterly about it. She looked so grown-up when we tried it out though as it really helped with her head control.

Ds got fitted for his chair today, all went ok but he was shattered and got a little stroppy!! Tried him in it later on but again he was tired and got upset. Will be trying it out for short periods each day so he can get used to it but he looks so grown up!!!!!

Awwww! I'm glad it went well, although lol at the stroppiness, my dd is just the same! She behaved impeccably for the first 5 mins of our fitting, whilst I held my breath as normally she has a good old crank when put in any physio equipment. And then the familiar whinging started......

Our chair arrived last night but I still haven't unpacked it . The box is hu-uge!

I know, maybe she will enjoy the box too then, it has masses of air bubble packing stuff too!!!!! We are still waiting for the chair for home, but as ds goes to nursery 4 days a week it is more beneficial for him there atm.

He sat in it really well today.... what a good boy.

Let me know how your dd gets on with her chair x

Ds is doing fantastically in his new chair and sits in it for all meals now (provided he is at nursery) We are still waiting for the one at home though, seems to be taking ages. Hope to see even more improvement from ds's posture. Will keep u posted.
