Flexi-Schooling

I was just wondering if any of you Flexi-School out there and does it affect the school in any way. I have a 5 year old in reception who has really struggled this year, we're on the waiting list for having him assessed for ADHD, ASD, Aspergers and the rest of it. He loves school but really struggles on a sensory level particularly by the end of the week where he can get increasingly aggressive, more so with the staff than students. The majority of staff especially the Head have really been helpful and the local SEN and SENCO had come up with a few strategies for him, sensory circuits etc and I've been on a Sensory course with the local O.T. so all singing on the same page. But I can tell by Thursday he's generally had enough and often things escalate to the point they have very nearly excluded him, sometimes I wish they would phone me and ask me to take him home, especially when he hit his teacher. They don't get on as she's quite inflexible in her approach to him - not her fault just her teaching style, he doesn't like being touched for one thing and the majority of the time I think she views him as badly behaved. Fortunately she goes on maternity leave shortly and he knows the teacher he will have next year.

Anyway I digress, I was wondering if I home school / flex-school one day a week this might work, would it affect the school ofsted report in anyway, would he be marked down as absent etc. I don't know anything about this hence I'm asking just want to know if its worth pursuing as an idea or not.
