EOTAS Home Tutor - Who Funds This Please ??

Due to an injury putting her in a wheelchair, with no end in sight diagnosis of a stone loss meaning she is very unwell generally the moment. DD has just been approved for a home tutor. Someone rang today to let me know & I'm a little concerned that it was repeated a few times, that "it's short term only, with view to ease her back into school" I can't say I warmed to the person either, they came across as quite "snotty" hoping they are better when we meet.

Great in an ideal world, nothing we or DD would love more than for her to be well enough to be able to cope with school, but unfortunately she is a long way from that, doesn't have a wheelchair that she can handle herself for more than a few minutes & she's still in a lot of pain, no pain management working well enough yet & her next follow up appointment isn't until January anyway.

It would be useful to know who I am dealing with before our home appointment

So would anyone know - who are EOTAS & what can I expect - DD is yr 8 in a huge high school, and has been away from school since February.

Advice appreciated please.

Thank you

Try contacting ipsea, sossen etc
I have no knowledge about Ehlers Danlos but these people will hopefully be able to support you and help you and your daughter.
Does DD current school have wheelchair access??
Try posting on special needs children or special needs chat as they normally are busier.
Has an ehcp been mentioned?
Team around a child meeting, so everyone involved can have an input as to when, how to get DD back to school.
