Been offered 3rd preference 75 intake year infants low sen.

Wanted mainstream small village school 20 year intake.

I have educational phycologist and peaditrician saying he's fine mainstream.

Speech and language reccomend specialist resource base only 2 in city and neither very close to me or in fab areas.
Both are academy.

Should I try mainstream see how he goes.

So confused.he says 15words does makaton.hates uniform and not fully potty trained as he won't use toiliet outside the house.

My son has verbal dyspraxia. He is in a mainstream school (y2). He talks non stop but is difficult to understand. We were offered a s&l base but decided to stay in his current school.

I think with your sons limited number of words and the fact he uses makaton a base would suit him better than mainstream.

My DS, 5, Has asd and oral and verbal dyspraxia. Honestly, I wish I didn't bother with mainstream first, even though the school is lovely. I am currently applying for my DS to get into a SLCN special school.
