So, ds1 got as and this "academy" is not fucking helping. They said they would help ds1 as and all they are doing is locking them in the "calm down room" and they have a really bad education sorry for the bad grammar right now but i'm just so angry and if you can go to nelson academy website
and then go to the contact us page and complain!

Can you start from the beginning and explain when/if your son received a formal AS diagnosis, how old he is, and whether he has an individual education plan? There's lot of posters here in the same boat, trying to work through awful attitudes and crap communication from schools.

You sound very frustrated but it is difficult for random people to complain on your behalf. Have you followed their SEN/complaints policy ?

he's 11, can't remember when he got a diagnosis put i think he was 6 at the time. he does have a individual education but doesn't mention this. he is also falling behind of his ICT job which is very possible if he had a decent education. i have complained, to which gained nothing. Once, his SENCO ended up hurting hurting him 3 times "accidentally"! I would Complain about this, but who to? I've tried ofcom, they couldn't because of some reason and department for edu is not doing very well. should i home school him?

Sorry you are not making much sense . There should be a complaints process defined on the school website leading through to head and governors. If no joy you can go to LA, Ofsted or Children's Services. What do you mean by ICT job ?

I think you need an advocate - someone to help you work through all this. How does that sound?

Google IPSEA/SOSSEN.
They are set up to help parents. They have an phoneline and will give you excellent advice. It can be quite hard to get through, but well worth it.
