My 10 year old has finally been assessed with slow processing (7th centile) - we have been pushing for an assessment for years! Mornings (and evenings) are hell getting ready for school as she can't remember all the different steps to get ready including feeding guinea pigs, getting her brace ready as well as basics like brushing teeth and hair. I have an alarm function on my phone which you can put a label on for each activity and would like to know if an alarm exists which she an use like this - she ignores mine but would take more control I feel if it were her own. Or is there an inexpensive phone we can buy with this option?
And any other tips pls for supporting a child with slow processing esp with 2ary school on the horizon?
