Hi I have a ASD high functioning 7yr od child, We are seriously considering Lindamood Bell (Notting Hill) Talkies mixed with V&V. There are a few reviews of LB but I would really like to hear from anyone who has had positive or negative experiences at Lindamood Bell - My daughter has serious expression (language) problems even though she is a very fluent and confident reader. The program is very expensive and represents a huge commitment for our family but there seem to be a lot of reasons to believe there is a high chance of good results. Thanks for your responses. Desperately Need your Advice!!

Hi both, their website is not that informative, but I have requested the info pack to be sent. Do they run holiday intensive courses? I my ds is dyslexic and we have a tutor but over the summer holidays it is such a long time to retain information. I also find its a great time to focus on weak areas as he's not so tired from school.

Lind mood bell centre is very expensive. Does anyone know a private tutor who can deliver the same! I can do it at home if some one can offer some coaching, I can buy the LB book from gander publishing! I am unable to afford the nOting hill one! Also, I will see if I can do it myself! Any advice here can be great!

Hello,

@blueShark I was wondering if you could give me any advice about Lindamoonbell? DD is dyspraxic and it’s recommended highly to us. We can use our savings and book her in but I’m struggling to find parents who have good experiences. Thank you

Morning, feel like I haven’t been on here for years! Yes, positive experience with LB and it’s worth every £. I continued to work on the technique at home for a few more years. Staff are lovely, technique logical and sensible. If your daughter would pay attention it’s a bonus, my boy was demand avoidant and it took us some time to get his focused and paying attention Hmm
