Good summer sling?

Hi all,
This is my 1st outing in this topic, I have a dd who is 18 weeks, we currently have a Close sling which I find great and dd really loves, especially being able to feed lying down on the go. She doesn't like her pram (a gift passed down from her 2 older sisters ). So we are embracing the sling route which I'm quite happy about. The problem is me and dd are getting VERY hot in this warm weather so I was hoping there is maybe a good summer alternative. She loves sitting upright facing outwards but it is a life saver to be able to 'recline' her and feed as she won't go down in the day so sleeps on me. I've tracked down my local sling meet but unfortunately the meeting was this week and there isn't another 1 for 4 weeks! Any advice gratefully accepted...

I think a solarveil ring sling or actually any light cotton ring sling may suit
you perfectly. Light, easy to feed in, and
even at 18 mos your dd can sit up or lie down. Plus it's easy to get her in and out of quickly which at that age is huge plus.

In a similar situation I went for a Solarweave Connecta which I really liked. I also strongly considered a Calin Bleu gauze wrap as I've heard good things about them too.

(Re-reading your OP, a gauze wrap or a Solrveil ring sling will suit you better than the Connecta, much as I loved mine)
