can anyone recommend a sling or hipseat/carrier for a 10 month old?

only for those times that she demands to be picked up, which is quite often at the moment and for short journeys. she is way too big and heavy now for the baby bjorn carrier. weighs 22lbs so would like something that may be used for a few months yet rather than something with a short life span. also something to take on holiday. would help and mean i don't have to take the pram out for shot trips.

I have a Ergo baby carrier I do the school run with my now 14 months old in the subway everyday. Fantastic!
Goes up to 15 Kg. can be used front back and side. Good resale value if you buy new my was second hand and i still going strong after 4 kids.

I'd second the Ergo. I still carrry my big lump of a 3yo in it comfortably.
