Would like some advice please.

Am going on holiday in Feb and to make getting through airports easier DH and I have decided that a carrier for DS3 will be essential so that we have got hands free to corral DS1 & 2.

I tried a Hugabub with DS2 which I liked but just couldn't tie properly and a Babasling with DS3 which was great when first born but now he is bigger I can't seem to get along with it.

DS is currently 15 weeks old and will be 5 months old when we go away.

Also I am a size 20/22 on top so need something that will fit a fuller figger.

Thanks in advance.

Patapum or Ergo would be my vote - I have a patapum I bought off ebay for £40.

Just been to Florida for three weeks and carried my DS of 10 months all over including in the airport. Its easy to slip on and off, easy to adjust and is very comfortable.

I am only a 12 top but a 36DD if that helps !!! But I found the patapum is really easy to wear with baby both on the front or back and my DH who has a 42 inch chest also wears it although he moans that he has to adjust it !

Yes I would go for a soft structured carrier. The Ergo is okay but expensive for what it is. The toddler size patapum is excellent but the baby version is, I believe, very similar to the Ergo except slightly smaller.

I'd have a look on ebay or ukbabywearingswap (google it, it's a yahoo group) for a second hand one, you can probably resell it afterwards too so it wouldn't cost you too much.

A link with some info on different types

More types

Some more

And I expect if you went onto ukbabywearingswap and just said "I want to buy a second hand SSC" someone would come up with one :)

Although the patapum is a lot cheaper than the ergo, even new, so might be a good bet actually.

And (last post sorry!) if looking on ebay I'd search by brand name rather than typing "baby sling" or "soft structured carrier" as you can get copycat brands which are often low quality or not as supportive (or more akin to a baby bjorn type which isn't as comfy)
