Hi all,

My DD dilikes the baba sling full stop and only like the babjorn if she is asleep and therefore rests her head against me, otherwise she is bothered by the fact her head is not held still, I imagine this will improve once she can support her own head. Would love a sling she actually likes, was thinking a close baby carrier or similar? Not too bothered about cost as a sling she enjoys will be a lifesaver!! Anyone got any ideas???

I think stretchy wraps are great for this age group, you can tie them so the baby feels really supported. You can easily tuck her head in too. I had a kari me wrap which I love. One of my friends has a close carrier which I have tried and is v comfy and a little easier to master than a full wrap.

Stretchy wraps and practice tying it with someone who knows how to do it! Don't be daunted by them, so comfy for you and baby. My DS screamed in the baby Bjorn but slept peacefully in the wrap, and now he is 6 months likes facing out in it.

Stretchy wrap is a good idea - or perhaps a connecta if you don't fancy the yards and yards of fabric [hsmile]
