Right, I'm really getting quite depressed about my weight. I'm returning to work following Mat Leave soon so hoping to get back in shape. I've done SW before and did quite well but last time I tried I simply failed. If I'm on a Diet I tend to want to eat crap I don't normally care about. Theres also the fact I never know what to eat so spam me with motivational stories and meal ideas. BTW I dislike fish (don't mind tinned tuna and cod occasionally)
OP - I've only been doing it for a few weeks but I find meal planning really helps - I've always done it for dinners but I try to plan for lunches & breakfasts too now.
Big bowl of fruit salad made up in the fridge so I can have that with yoghurt for breakfast.
DD loves the free pasta salads - there's a lemon & herb one and we also did pasta arrabiata one evening & had the rest cold the next day. Added chicken, lean bacon & extra veg to make it a bit more interesting.
The SW curries and the roast potatoes are really good for losing weight without feeling too deprived.
I also saw a great idea on another thread the other day - someone has HiFi bars as their HexB option and saves pretty much all their syns for the evening, which means if you choose carefully you can have quite sizeable pile of goodies too snack on by the evening!
