I've bought a slimming world chicken tikka masala from Iceland and I was going to just cook some rice but I've not had much speed food today so what would you suggest?
Does chicken tikka, rice, carrots, broccoli and sweetcorn sound ok? I'm not sure lol.

I had it the other week and had broccoli, cauliflower and sprouts with it. The veg takes on the taste of the curry tbh so I don't think it matters much what you have with it.

Probably too late for tonight but I usually have it with spinach, peppers and mushrooms.

Bit late but for future dinners, I did cauliflower rice for the first time - just grated half a head of cauliflower into a bowl, covered in clingfilm & microwaved for 3 minutes.

I had it with chilli and barely noticed the difference tbh, so will definitely be doing it instead of rice in future.

ava is normal rice free? Do you not like it?

Yes, normal rice is free and I love it, but already had rice at lunchtime by way of KFC rice box, and I know that carbs don't do me any favours. I didn't do as well as I hoped at my first weigh in on Tuesday so am trying to err more of the side of the speed plan this week.

I'll still eat carbs (probably having pasta tomorrow) but if I can change it up where it doesn't make too much difference taste wise then I may as well.

I had the following with my Chicken Tikka Masala and it was gorgeous:

Chop up onions, tomatoes and cucumber into little cubes or pieces and toss in a tablespoon of mint sauce from a jar half a syn). It's like a raita/salsa and it was delicious.
