... Yeo valley natural yoghurt (I used the full fat version 1.5 syns) mixed with
HE b of 35g porridge oats and
loads of free fruit - I had chopped apple, banana, blueberries and strawberries

If you used the 0% fat yoghurt it'd be syn free.

It was delicious and very filling, as the oats swell up and soften a bit in the yoghurt.

Breakfast is a bit of a problem for me as I like sweet cereals and can't face a cooked breakfast, but this might just become my staple.

So I thought I'd share in case it appeals to anyone else.

Our group calls this magic porridge oats.

I may have to try, it really doesn't appeal to me, but people are raving about it!!

Did you leave the oats to swell, or do they do it immediately?

I had eggy bread ith golden syrup ( 2syns a tablespoon) and a banana on top. Was lovely. Using my 2 slices from a small brown loaf as heb.

I usually have egg and beans on toast ,but find I have the same thing for weeks they suddenly can't face it andh vae to find something different.

You need to leave the yogurt and oat mixture in the fridge overnight for the oats to get nice and soft. I make it for the kids with full-fat strawberry yogurt, they seem to enjoy it.

I struggle with getting out of the cereal and milk habit with Slimming World. If you have it that's your HEB and half of your milk gone for the day! I love cheese, so for breakfast recently I have been having the blueberry Liberte yogurt (1 syn) with a banana of whatever other fruit we have.

I knew it was going to be over night oats! I love them, especially with lots of mixed berries and chopped apple. Yum!!

Yum!! I had yogurt this morning, too. With sliced apple and a huge coffee.
Quite filling but I do prefer lean bacon and mushrooms on a slice of wholemeal bread. Feels very decadent.

I might try leaving it overnight (I haven't done before), but this morning I ate it about 5 minutes after I'd made it, so there was still some texture to the oats rather than them being totally soft and gloopy which doesn't appeal to me so much. The banana made it really sweet and a bit of apple gives a crunch and then the strawberries and blueberries add colour and a bit of extra flavour.

I know it sounds a bit yuck and the first time I saw a yoghurt and museli mix on a hotel breakfast buffet I thought it looked rank, but was pleasantly surprised when I tried it.

I might have to try syrupy eggy bread again - I used to eat this on WW a few years back, but I seem to remember it was expensive on points (but I was bf back then so had plenty to spare)
