I am 5"1

I weigh 19 stone

My BMI is 50

How the hell did I get to this?

I need to loose 10 stone.

Hi sublime well done on your first stone that's fantastic grin . I'm 13lbs & 6 weeks in so very similar to you ie still losing but just 1lb this week & I do feel I need to regain focus so am going to start writing everything down this week & do a proper meal plan for the week.

Keep going, as you say it might only be 1lb but it's still a loss wink

Hello all, thought I'd pop back and see how everyone is doing?

Well I've been a sw member for 7 weeks and tonight got my first stone award smile Bit disappointed that I ou lost 1lb last week and 1lb this week but I suppose I'm going in the right direction.

1 stone down, 9 more to go!

I had the Mirena fitted 2 weeks ago, maybe that's why.

Hi OP, I've just found this thread and just wanted to say well done, and don't be too daunted by how much you have to lose, just take it one step at a time. I joined SW almost exactly one year ago, with a BMI of 46.5 with a massive 8 stone to lose. It seemed like a huge amount and I didn't really think I could do it.

One year on and I've lost 6 stone and got my BMI down to 34. I still have 2 stone to go but I already look and feel so much better. You can do it!

Ive been dieting since last August and have only lost just not quite 2 stone Yet ive followed the SW plan stayed WELL below my syns and only had choc at Xmas. Am actually considering taking diet pills Ive tried excsrsising Ive tried not excesrsising. Makes no difference In 8 months ive had 2 takeaways a Dominos on August 4 last year and fish and chips on NYE.

Short of sticking my fingers down my throat i dont see what else i can do. Id take laxatives but i have IBS so it isnt a good idea I am losing about 2 pounds a month going from 16stone 8 to 14 stone 11 Im fucked off and fed up Have refused cake EVERY TIME when its offered to me at my mums. My DH says something isnt right.

In 2002/2003 i lost ten stone going from 21 down to 10 stone 12. A stone a month for seven months and then a year to lose the last 3. I was 29/30 when i did that and now im almost 41. im fucking fed up with this and i FUCKING WELL DESERVE a better loss than what im getting.

Well I have done week one, I am going for my second weigh in! I havnt been doing it properly atall hmm and not surprisingly I havnt lost any weight! Also all I feel like doing is stuffing my face with biscuits help!

How's everyone doing? Lost 3.5lbs this week grin taking me to 10bls since beginning of march PLUS my family are loving some of the meals I'm cooking which I'm so pleased about as I feel it's really something I can continue long term.

I have them occasionally and just mix it up with other stuff.

Looks like it's gonna be Saturday before I can see DP due to his work. Much as it's nice to have a DP that works (ExH couldn't be bothered to look never mind go if he ever got a job) it gets to me that I can't ever plan a set day to do stuff with him cos we never know if he's gonna get the day off.

Oh littledragon that sounds so tough. You're doing brilliantly to even be thinking about losing weight. Do you like things like the bachelors pasta & sauce packets? They're quick, easy & a lot of them are free. Think someone at group said they're fine made with water if you've used your milk up.
I went for my first run yesterday, I'm doing couch to 5km so only 8 mins actual running, but that's 8 mins more than the day before.

I'm just doing whatever I can with food atm, and given that I don't want to cook meals really by the time I can get in the kitchen (am in a shared facilities situation so it's after 7:30 most nights before I can get in the kitchen)that's not a great amount

isis - I had physio and it made it worse on its own when I tried, however for the past 18 months DP has been doing massage and giving me very similar exercises to try and that's working a lot better, he just hasn't been able to come and see me for over a week due to work. I went to see a GP (not the usual one I see) at my practice but he's saying he's going to have to go right through all my old notes to find out if that's the best option (I already know there are very few, if any other options left, I've had the back problems for 11 years and been through everything my former GPs practice could suggest and they were used to dealing with pat and present army and airforce).

Oh littledragon sorry you're having a rotten time. Obviously don't know anything about your situation, but there are specific strengthening exercises to help prevent further falls (DH is a physio). If it's an ongoing situation might be worth asking for a referral if you haven't been seen already.
I've had a rotten week, but it was my birthday so I'm using that as an excuse! Back on track as of now, in fact going for my first run in 18months once DD finished feeding.

I put another 1.5lb on but that's a lot better than I was expecting tbh. I also am struggling now to do much body magic as had a fall on tuesday and now have to walk with a stick to help me stay balanced if my leg goes again!
I'm filling in SAS logs this week which are very much like a more detailed version of the food diary.

Well done everyone!
Week 3 and another 3 lb off so 11 lb in total. Started swimming 3 times a week and enjoying it even though I'm not very good.

Well done on the losses, ive had a bad one tonight dinner was crap so didnt eat it, jus had a pack of wotsits instead, thats the last of my syns gone and im starvin, got a funny feelin i wont b losin this wk, now i just need to resist the choc.
