I joined SW today, im no stranger to it but don't want to out myself by having other posts linked to me...so ill just say I was very successful, lost alot and stayed at target fine.

Until I got pregnant .. boom!

Its been almost three years since I was at target (before pregnancy) and when it dawned on me that I've been living in this weird bubble. . thinking I was skinny like- last week! and ive 'just' had a baby and im totally on my way back to size ten.. abd really. ......my 'baby' is a little person and its been almost THREE years since I was a happy healthy weight, and im no where near getting back there...in fact. I've gained over a stone since I've had dd :-(

Im a size 16 and miserable. Exercising loads cos I love it but eating so much shit.

I get married in 5 months and while I adore my dress I am angry with myself that its a size 18- not the size 10 gowns I tried on before.

I haven't got long- and my journey won't be over once the wedding is over. I know that.

I can't stay to group, so I need loads of support.

im scared I'll fail.. please help!

Its a pity that you can't stay to group as you can pick up some really good ideas there. I think most groups now have their own fb page though where recipes and tips are shared, as well as the main sw fb page. Its hard when you realise that you're not what you thought you were, but you have realised you're no longer a size 10 and, more importantly, you're doing something about it! If you've done sw before then you know it works. It may not work as fast second time round though - just take it as it comes and remember every loss is a step in the right direction, which will also teach your DD good eating habits. If I can help out with anything in particular let me know. I have thyroid problems but have been going to sw for about 17 months now. I wish you well on your journey and hope you enjoy the wedding Smile

Hello! Thanks for shopping by.to offer some words of wisdom. .I know staying to group is key especially if yiy enjoy it. Unfortunately its just not plausible for me right now..I work 7:30-6pm with an hour commute either way. its a case of dropping in via work time.. esp as I always have dd with me.

I explained this to the consultant and asked if she'd be willing to keep in contact with me via email but got a bit defensive and was like 'oh ill keep in contact anyway' ..she didn't put her contact details in my book..and I know what she really means is ill get a nice little blanket txt message once a week that everyone else receives too. I had a really good impression from a different consultant locally before so I might switch to her..she seemed a bit more 'above and beyond' iykwim.

Changing consultant sounds like a plan Smile. Mind you, I don't generally get any communication from my consultant other than the weekly meeting so even a text once a week is quite good going! x

I'm really impressed with the advice, recipes and forum online. I do stay to group, but use the SW Online daily. I'm in my 7th week and have lost 10 lbs so far by using only SW recipes for the whole family.

Go online OP and see what you think (you DO have to be a member of a Group or an Online Member).
