welcome one and all - oldies (and yo yo'ers
like me ) and any newbies

wannabe, I started doing SW online, and paid £65 for 3 months. After about 3 weeks I gave up! I need the weigh in to keep me motivated. I fall off the wagon most weekends, but it's the thought of going to group gets me back on track. The group meetings are the same old rubbish every week, but i pick up loads of tips and recipes and come out feeling really positive.You never have to say anything personal, some people say very little, others won't shut up!!!!
My ex bf new wife goes to my group, which is pretty awkward!!!! ( we split after 5 years because I wanted a baby, he didn't. Within a week he'd met her, 2 weeks later she was pregnant!)
Anyway, back on track 100%. We were talking about diets in work yesterday and a bloke said to me something along the lines of, you're still quite big. I was mortified! I think I needed someone to say it though. When everyone is complimenting you all the time, you lose sight of the fact that you've still got a way to go. I definitely have the 'I'll show you' mindset now!

Well done losers! I lost 1.5lbs this week which was just enough to get my much longed-for 5 stone award . I've been good this week so I'm hoping for a decent loss this week.

I've had a really bad week as I went away for few days with hubby for anniversary and just ate and drank all week. I was going to go to weigh in, suck up the gain and start again - but ended up going to Manchester Xmas markets and eating and drinking lots again, missing weigh in.
I've got in and made a huge batch of speed soup to start again tomorrow. Hopefully have a good week to make up for it.
Well, I've been ill for a couple of weeks, nothing serious just a horrible cold, so I've now missed 2 weeks of weigh ins . I don't think I've done very well while I've been ill either as I just couldn't be bothered to cook so we've ended up with stupid stuff like Dominos pizza or chinese takeaway (I did choose the chicken and mushroom with boiled rice so only 5.5syns for that), and I've eaten far too much chocolate as well because I always eat chocolate when I'm ill . Never mind, I'm back on the wagon starting today. I've had no syns at all today and still have a heb if I want it. I think I'll have to have minimal syns all week to make up for the massive syn-fest I've had over the past couple of weeks.
muminthecity does that take you really close to target? 5 stones is absolutely amazing, congratulations!!
Thats fab muminthecity and well done to everyone. Another half pound off for me this week which is fine as i lost 2 last week and 2 the week before so im happy. And on i go.
got my 1.5 stone yesterday in 6 weeks, morning, slimmer of the week and month felt really good about myself, then all I have done is eat today, mainly free and superfree bar 2 chocolate biscuits from a selection box at work, first slip up and im kicking myself. I know in reality it isn't a slip up but I'm quite frustrated with myself
Unexpected 2 and 1/2lb off this week binged badly on cookies at the weekend so was shocked I'm 2lb away from my 5 1/2 stone award I wanna be on target by xmas but will probably reduce it by another stone after I reach target.

I've had my third weigh in today and although I only lost 1 1/2lbs, which is less than I'd hoped, that's 10lb off in 3 weeks, so I can't really complain. The consultant is great and funny too, which really helps as I really look forward to the group.
Can all you losers, please come and smack my arse into doing this properly!! I'm so halfhearted at the moment, knowing it will be a gain tomorrow....!!

Muminthecity and Pinkoneblueone WOW. I hope to be where you are next Christmas. Well done to all the losses. 3 pounds down this morning so very pleased. I bought some of the hi-fi rocky roads so am having my fibre fix at the moment - they are just too good!
brilliant losses this week all round here i started last january and lost most of my weight between january and april i always make sure my meals are good its cookies that are my downfall but i am really active so atm is not affecting me in the way i expected it would when i'm bad and off plan. i just make sure i'm as organised as possible with my snacks and meals as i can be so ensure that i don't go off plan.
lots of superfree and plenty of water is my trick

I lost 1/2 lb tonight. Happy enough with that. I should have put on last week but lost, so guessing it's all evening out. Got my 2 stone award, at last. I desperately want to lose another 7 lbs before Christmas so need to pull my finger out!!

-3lbs this week. It's taken 3 weeks to do it though. I finally got my 1.5st award and my club 10 as well. It's taking forever because I keep cheating
I want to get to the 2st by Christmas so that's 4.5lbs in 3 weeks, I should be able to do that, although I've got 3 Christmas parties to go to before then.

You'll be fine Steffanoid, as long as the rest of the week went well.
I went to mil's yesterday and she declared I needed feeding up because I've "lost too much weight" (I've still got another 1.5st to get into the healthy range). So I had my arm twisted to eat a HUGE portion of shepherds pie, followed by eclair, then the box of chocolates was deliberately placed right next to me. And I've got our work night out on Wednesday so i was supposed to be saving most of the weeks syns for that but I blew them all yesterday Doesn't look like this week is going to be brilliant, and it's star week to top it all off nicely.
lost 2 and got got slimmer of the week again all was not lost, no meals out this week so heres to a good loss again
I've eaten my weight in chocolate this week, not looking forward to wi on thursday!!!

Fairy I'm eating a ton of chocolate this week too. I had the best of intentions today but then someone brought a box of chocolates into work and I had a couple of those at breaktime, and I was at a concert this evening so didn't have time for a proper dinner but did have time to eat biscuits in the interval . This week I'll mainly be putting weight on that I lost last week then. I wish I had more will power.
I find it so hard this time of year! I'm seriously craving chocolate and pringles! ;-) But have resisted so far. It's weigh in tonight so hoping for a 1ln or 2 lb loss. I'm up to 2 st 1.5lb now in 12 or 13 weeks (can't remember). I would like to get to 2 and a half st by Christmas but not really sure if thats realsistic considering I've got 5 Xmas part nights out.
Just checked its actually 2st 2.5lbs in 13 weeks :-)
+1/2 lb tonight. Relieved as I expected more. I wanted another 8 lbs off for Christmas, but we've only got 2 more weigh ins!! Thinking about doing some red days to speed it up.
