Welcome one and all for our 3rd thread since jan 2013

Blondes is being very bad on holiday smile but once back in uk I shall be back on sw

'Plumps cushions' and hands out healthy sw snacks and wine

Hey folks been on slimming world 7 weeks now and lost 18lbs so far, so pleased with myself and don't feel like I'm dieting at all

Hi all, first weigh in last night and -3 lbs. I'm happy-ish. Been following EE for the first time and really haven't felt like I've been on a diet. In the past I've done red days, and lost loads (5 lbs) the first week. Thinking about alternating red and EE weeks.

Well done on all the great losses

Hello Peeps.
First time on here. I have been a yo-yo dieter for years and because I cannot make the evening SW groups, I thought I would read the posts on here. Tis good to see people are blogging their weight losses and interesting food choices. I hope to get some up to date info from like minded dieterssmile

B- 2 x Weetabix (HEB) & semi-skimmed (HEA) Banana
L- Grilled chicken breast & Uncle Ben's Egg Fried Rice (4.5 syns) with soy sauce
D- Free Spag Bolognaise
Snacks- Diet Coke & fruit

Today

B - scrambled egg on whole meal toast (hex)
D - warburtons thin (5) salad and ham (first sandwich in 3 weeks without Marg and it wasn't too bad) grapes and a yoghurt
T - pitta pocket (5) salad, minted lamb kebabs (really don't know how to syn. I've made it myself and cut all the fat off. The marinade is olive oil/balsamic/lemon juice/mint but it doesn't get cooked in it) and potato wedges
Snacks - tea/coffee

hello all - im finally home -3.5hr that actually took 9hrs coz of bloody glastenbury - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

been bad blonde -as always when on holiday

know i would have gained my weight again

will have a read and catch up

new thread here when this is full smile

We've been doing SW since 14 Jan this year. DH has lost nearly 4st. I feel loads better & have lost 3 dress sizes.

I worked out my loss in Kg & then tried to pick up the equivalent in those big bags of potatoes at the supermarket. It nearly killed me! I couldn't pick up that weight but used to carry it round as fat.

I have a question over healthy extras. Basically if i want a bowl of porridge how much can I have??? I have a list from a skimming world printout I found but it says how much porridge oats AND a ryvita for or another proportion with a scan bran. Well I dot want that. I just want a bowl of porridge. On its own!

So does anyone know how much I should be having? grin

Well done to you too Iklboo. You must feel so much better having lost that 3 stone. I want to lose about 3 stone so I scrape into the healthy range, how long has it taken you?

I feel like I've been really good today, but I skipped lunch so am starving now, even though I've already had a yummy dinner. Chicken and chorizo paella (6.5) made by dp.

BethAndHerBrood envy love m&ms! I bet it's too late now but all I can think of for a green day salad is boiled eggs or quorn pieces?

Todays food-
B- weetabix and milk HEA & B banana, clementine
L- was shopping in town so popped into Morrisons and got some ready to eat chicken. Then when I got home I had a pasta & sauce with cheese 6 then clementines and a peach
D- Mustard chicken with roast potatoes, boiled veg and gravy 2
Mini milk 1.5 and 2 packs of flying saucers 6

B - Banana
L - Leftover pepsi max chicken with salad
D - Spaghetti Bolognese with grated cheese (HEA)
S - 3 satsumas and a caramel rocky (5 syns)

Going to water workout class tonight so I'm saving my HEB for after that. Will probably have either 2 hifi bars or some toast.

Went out on Friday for drinks & a meal. A bit naughty yesterday (v small piece of quiche & a handful or Doritos). I'll get on the running machine before I weigh in tonight. Made a meal plan for this week.

Monday: - chicken kebab & chips (Healthy B pitta, roast chicken & salad, slimming world chips - free)
Tuesday: - grilled salmon, baby new potatoes & asparagus (free)
Wednesday: - Herby mince cous cous (free)
Thursday: - Chinese spice, honey & soy chicken stir fry (1/2 syn a serving)
Friday: - Gammon, jacket potatoes & veg (1/2 syn for extra light mayo on potato)
Saturday: - Pork stroganoff with herbed roast potatoes & veg (about 2 syns, max)
Sunday: - Chicken dinner with mash, SW roast potatoes, veg, gracy & stuffing (works out about 4 syns, max)

Now......if I can stick to that plan................

No loss this week but looking back at my diary it got to Thursday n I pressed self destruct. No gain though so small mercys n all that. Stern talking to and a fresh start today

B - wheatabix (hex) milk (hex) strawberries, tea
D - prawns, pasta, lettuce, raddish, peppers, cucumber, spring onion, dressing. Activia yoghurt
T - salmon, roasted peppers/carrot/onions, cous cous (1/2)
Snacks - Apple and maybe an alpen bar with a brew (3)

So 1/2 to 3 1/2 syns and should b doing interval training tonight

Over the weekend i have been really good mealswise, done some exercise. And eaten enough peanut m&m's to sink a battleship blush

But they have all gone now, so no more syns for me this week! Not sure i will get to wi on thurs, it's supposed to be sports day for my youngest, weather permitting. But i could sneak on the scales on wed instead maybe.

I have stuff in the fridge for a big salad. Wondering what to have with it, on a green day. Any ideas? Am going to make sure i have my scan bran today as well.

Morning. Another 1lb off for me. Had a party y'day and my tummy was killing me by the evening after over indulging so I'm happy I lost anything.

Question - when you look something up and it says Bagels 50/50, 4 pack, 85g each 11 syns. That's 11 syns per bagel isn't it? Oops ...

Mama, the first time I did SW, I didn't believe that eating that much could possibly make me lose weight but it did. It works, have faith smile
