Do any of you read your dc to sleep?

Co-sleeping, extended bfer in need of revamp!

DDs bedtimes been really difficult recently, taking two, two and half hours from going upstairs to going to sleep. She feeds to sleep, and I am just getting no evening at all. She's 3.1.

So thinking about changing the whole thing - I read her to bed in her toddler bed at naptime, wondered if many people do this at bedtime?

Three stories followed by three songs - and she's usually asleep somewhere in the second song. Discovered christmas carols work a treat (and what's wrong with Away in a Manger in Arpil?).
