mine do this often, if you keep trying to put her down she will eventually creep backup.

Does sound early but my ds had dropped all naps by age 2. I was gutted! Glad it wasn't as early as that mind!

i think its too early but have no comparisons as she is my first and my family are all in Ireland I am in UK.

I'll just keep putting her down and start praying!!

aww
like i said keep tryin each day, dont make a battle out of it, and if shes happy to sing in the cot then let her be. as long as shes not crying to come out, you still get a break, and she is resting.

DH you got to love them they were out for the morning she got tired so he brought her home and put her in her cot she sang for an hour.

I did not want to undermine him and was in next room studying so let it continue i then popped in to see him and asked how he was coping with her not settling he was fine enjoying the singing. How much lunch did she have I asked none he replies she was tired well I don't think she is sleeping now as she is hungry! Cue grumpy DH, Dd up, fed now sleeping peacefully.

I know I bang on about routine and it may be restrictive but it does work (usually) lunch 1230 play then nap 1330 usually asleep by 1350 but hey ho who am I.

Am just so pleased she is napping as she looked shattered bless her.

Routines - definitely! No lunch=less or no sleep, however tired they are!
