24wk old DD going through long drawn out teething marathon. Two bottom front teeth have cut, and things started to settle over the weekend, but tuesday night and last night she was wailing and screaming and chewing on her hands like Ive never seen. Can she have more teeth coming through so soon? I was hoping for some respite before the next lot. please reassure me this doesn't last forever. Sleep deprivation is getting to me a little bit now.

I think dd got her first four fairly rapidly. Sympathies, we are at the 'cutting canines' stage now, which is similarly hellish.

I assume you've tried all the remedies? Ashtons and Parsons? Dentinox teething gel is still the best one I've tried.

Bought some baby bonjella and she just seemed to suck it off her gums and swallow it. Is the Dentinox thicker or something?

I'm not sure, but it has always worked for dd. Worth a try, it's not expensive. Some people use Anbesol also.

Ibuprofen and paracetamol work so much better, though.

yeah I've been dosing her up on calpol before bedtime and it was working initially but the past few nights nothing seems to be working.
I read on one of the info websites that each time a baby goes through teething it sohouldn't mean more than 2-3 days of disturbed sleep!? we're into our second week now...
Maybe last night being the worst night so far means that things are dying down a bit?
