I want her to go to sleep!

DD is an angel, she is lovely and I would not change her.

But, I have flu/throat infection or something, feel like shit, DH is watching Grand Prix elsewhere, and DD will not go to sleep for her nap.

mummy, mummy, mummy, mummeeee, pleese, mummy, daddeeee, want daddeeeee (bangs on door, over and over and over)

After kicking me in the face, and tipping her bottle upside down and squeezing all the milk over herself, her bed, the floor etc (she does that all the time, in particular she likes to do this in the car seat, trying to get the milk in the seat clip).

My head hurts, the house is a mess, and I have to go to work tomorrow so I cannot just take a fews to recover, this is my day to recover.

So please, everyone send her some sleepy vibes.

Thanks

OK I gave in, she is now up.
'ungry mummy, ungry tummy' although she had a good lunch and about 6oz milk'.

So now, she is pouring my leftover soup into her empty bowl, stirring, and pouring back, complaining that is is cold.

She is happy now at least, and I will be putting curious george on, again.

you have my sympathy! my DD has this past week decided not to have her usual lunchtime naps, and it's exhausting!! (am expecting no. 2 in 3 weeks' time - what timing, eh!) Perhaps they'll both sleep reallllllly well tonight to compensate?! (hopeful expression)

SunCream - oh poor you, at least we have just DD to deal with!

And to top it off there is some twat bloke just pulled up outside our place, right outside and the chilled, calming DD is now very interested in the loud banging music coming from the car.

I would have shouted out the window to turn it the fuck down, but I cant shout
