So my DD is now in her lovely new 'big girl bed'. How long until she sleeps in it?

How much sleep can a child lose before they get their routine back?

Since she has been able to climb from her cot, last wednesday I believe it was, she has been out and playing toys all night. She generally crashes at about 9.30pm, until about 2.30pm, then up for several hours and then again at 6am. Sometimes, ie this morning, I find her asleep on the floor amongst her clothes/bears etc.

She is currently banging around, despite being put back to get about 4 times. Of course, she is very excited about her big girl bed, so I am not expecting it to work tonight.

How long will it take before she is so tired, she goes to sleep at 8pm, once again, and sleeps through?
