My dh uses BIOEARS, they are rather like blu-tac crossed with wax but very pliable. They fit into your ear and seal it up. He says they are the only thing that shut out my pregnancy snoring .
They are quite expensive (£4.00 for a packet of 3 pairs from Boots) but they are reuseable a few times.

CarGirl - Thanks, I have tried all forms of kicking, pocking and prodding and even kicking him out to sleep on the sofa, but I can STILL HEAR HIM!!!

Atilla - Thanks will hive those a try - have reached the point where money is no object. May have to resort to separate houses at this rate!

You should take him to the drs snoring that is that load is worrying, is he overweight? There are products out there to reduce snoring I know my friend's Dad uses something that apparantly works - her Mum is very very happy so it must have helped.

I have used Quies - wax ones for 14 years. Brilliant. Can't get them in boots - need to go to local pharmacies.

DH also uses a stop snoring spray thing which helps.

This will take you to an online supplier of the Quies wax earplugs. They are brilliant and work out cheaper than buying them from the independent chemists. Alternatively if you know someone going to France you can get them in the hypermarkets there, usually in the same aisle as toothpaste!

DH bought me Bio ears, they were dreadful and ended up stuck in my hair. They probably work better if your hair is cut above your ears.

That said, they do work quite well as "blutac".

I use Boots' own brand wax earplugs to shut out DH's loud snoring. They work like a dream for me.

Quies work for me - have only managed to buy them in France though, but I'm sure they can be found somewhere. The foam ones fill your ears marvellously! Good luck

Thank you everyone! Very excited about Quies! I am going to order some tomorrow. Yes, DH is overweight and trying to do something about that but we need to find some kind of solution in the meantime....(skips off to bed dreaming of Quies)
