Sleep

OK, 4 and 5am starts getting ridiculous. What clock?

I've done 3 kids now, ALL early wakers. We can no longer cope with a baby still waking in the night AND a 3.5yo who gets up at 4 or 5...

Is there some kind of clock he can use which will help him know when morning is (he does know numbers up to 10 but beyond that has little grasp of 'I know it's light but it is not morning until 6 o'clock...'

Any suggestions?

I really sympathise! Both of mine were - and still are - early wakers. The 4am starts are a bit of a distant memory now, and now they just get up early and amuse themselves until we get up. It's just some people's natures to be early risers and there's not a lot you can do to stop them waking. You can get them to do something quiet or stay in their rooms though - good luck with the rabbit clock.

Hi SPB!

Wilfsell, the kidsleep clock is quite good, it has two pictures - one of a sleeping bunny which is lit up at night and then one of a an awake bunny which comes on whenever you set it. There's no noise when it changes so won't wake your lo up. My 3 year old totally gets the concept of it. Unfortunately she shares a room with my 1 year old ds who's internal alarm clock is set to 5am most mornings .....
