What age can a child have a pillow?

My ds is only just one. We bedshare, and he keeps trying to crawl over to lay his head on our pillows and we keep putting him back on the mattress.

What age are children allowed to have pillows? Does ds have long to wait?

Oh excellent! So I don't need to stay awake to stop him crawling up, that's great news!! He really seems to want to sleep on a pillow too; maybe he's read the same book!
