Sleeping bag product advice

Hi. Didn't know where to post here or in products. So, anyway. Did anyone find that when their lo started standing, they couldn't put them in sleeping bags anymore, because of tripping over and entanglement? Ds approaching that age, and wondering whether to take advantage of 3 for 2 offer!

Ds is 11 months and has been standing for a good few months - he pulls himself up on anything - he is spiderman, but we have had no problems with sleeping bags - usually once he is out of his cot on a morning I take it off - although there have been a few occasions when its been really cold so I have left it on for half an hour while the heating kicks in - he manages to crawl and stand up in it no problem - more's the pity . He looks like casper the friendly ghost!

He doesn't trip over it? Someone told me that would happen, but she's a bit of a know-all, and I'm depserate for her to be wrong. But don't want ds to fall over and break his neck or anything...

mine always enjoyed 'sack race' type shenanigans in their sleeping bags...

nope - no accidents here, probably once he is properly walking, but to be honest he is only ever in it when he is in bed

nedmum how old is your ds? My dd is 20 months and still in a cot-bed so she can't get out of it and is only in her sleeping bag while she's in it. She's been standing for ages now. If your ds is in a bed and can get himself in and out maybe there's more chance of an accident?

my 21 month old waddles around the house penguin style in his every morning until he's ready to really play. I think it must be lovely to take his blankets with him when he first wakes!

Dd happily stayed in hers until she was 2.5 or so and was fine in a toddler bed with them. In fact it was an advantage as they stopped her getting out and going wandering .

He's 10 months, still in a cot. Apparently, supermum said that her ds started standing up in his cot and then going arse over tit and all hell broke loose. So I just wanted to check if anyone else had found a problem before spending a fortune on a selection of bags to keep him going. I'm glad she was wrong, sleeping bags are the best baby invention ever. Wish I had one
