This starts about an hour after he's put down. Anything I can do, or is it just one of those phases you have to sit out, as it were?

dt2 has just done this. So glad to know it's a phase. I feel I've forgotten so much in 6 years

Hi Marslady - Glad I'm not the only one who feels as thought she's forgotten My youngest is 15 - grandson is 2 - sometimes think I can't remember anything.

Anyway... SOPPY... sometimes grandson stays awake in his cot for a while after going to bed and as long as he's not upset, we ignore him. He plays quite happily and we just go in and cover him up once he's laid back down and gone to sleep.

Other times he goes to sleep straight away and then we can hear him playing in the middle of the night, in the pitch black. He's happy, so we leave him and he soon settles back down.

Your little ones definately going through a phase.

unfortunately I can't ignore my dts when they stir. Because they can crawl and now stand they would wake each other up. Sadly we do not have enough room to put up two cots. Would love to separate them now, even though I never thought that I would.
