My 15w.o. slept ok last night; down at 7pm, awake at 12.30am for a feed, then slept to 6.30am this morning. After another feed, she wanted a nap at 8.15am... and she is still napping!! This is unusual for her, usually she only naps for 1 hour in the morning ...
DH and I have both been suffering from horrible colds, although she seems to be fine. She had her immunisation jabs yesterday. Wondered if she might be feeling poorly and that is why she is napping for so long? Surprised she is not yelling for a feed ...

I think it could well be to do with the jabs - I seem to remember at least one of mine having some marathon naps post-jabs.

Or she may be coming down with something - again, mine used to (and youngest one still does) sleep more just before some lurgy struck!

Oh God, I hope she isn't going to catch my cold ... but I suppose it is fairly inevitable ...

she woke at 11.50am, and is now back napping ... this is very strange. But she seems perky enough when she is awake.

The nurse said to me that it wouldn't be unusual for a baby to be very sleepy after immunisations, but to make sure they have their usual feeds which may involve waking them.
