Need advise and help, my lovely 4 month old dd was sleeping well from dream feed (10:30pmish) til 6am ish - all good. Last few weeks tho has been waking more and more in the night. Last night woke up at 9pm was difficult to settle til dream feed which gave early. Then woke at 1am, 2am and 4.30am - fed at 4.30am as seemed hungry but only had 2oz then again at 7am. At 1 and 2 she did settle fairly quickly but this is now becoming a regular pattern night after night and I'm shattered. She is also more unsettled in the day but goes from finishing her bottle to hardly touching it even tho she seems hungry... help please

Teething?

Hi, I think this is very common problem.
I know how hard it is, and the lack of sleep makes you feel dreadful, but hang in there
Could it be a growth spurt?
Our little boy did this, we fed him, put him down and he would wake up every hour or so it seemed, and he was not hungry or dirty, just grumpy, it took us ages to settle him down again. We refused to feed him, because there was no point, like yours, ours had just had a bottl and was not hungry. Instead we just sat with him and rubbed his back and tried to let him settle on his own without his bottle as a comforter.
It was pretty hard in the beginning, but we managed to leave him for longer periods, and now he's sleeping like a dream.

Hang in there, I am sure other mums will have advice

Could be a growth spurt, 4 months is a classic one. Could be the start of teething.

So many babies I know went "weird" with their sleep at 4 months. I'm afraid it is another phase which will pass, but that doesn't make it any easier in the meantime.

Cheers ladies my lovely dh is giving me the whole night off tonight so I'm hoping I'll be fresh as a daisy tomorrow and able to cope with the sleep disturbances!! I think teeth and growth spurt combined
