Any tips on 5 yr old waking in night?

Until she started year 1 a few weeks ago, dd was sleeping all night.
So now she's waking during the night and wanting to be with one of us. We have no room for a king size so if means one of us (dh) has to decamp to the spare bed during the night every bloody night
We tried the bed on the floor in our room it she still kept waking us to say she wanted to get into our bed, hence moving around again.

What's the advice these days for stopping this?
I do think she genuinely is scared but we are getting knackered.
