I usually feed 5mo DS to sleep both for naps and during the night. It's always worked for us and I suppose I should just be happy with that.
But the other reason I do it is for some reason I seem to have NO patience for any other method! I have tried rocking him to sleep over my shoulder (he doesn't like being cradled) and when I do he usually wriggles and grunts and kicks against me, which drives me MAD!!! DH manages to rock him to sleep and says the wriggling is just him getting comfy, but literally after about 2 minutes of it I can feel the most intense angry frustration rising and I want to lose my shit!!!!! So I end up either putting DS down safely and leaving the room for 5 mins or just stick him on the boob to get him to sleep.
I'm posting not because I am necessarily too worried about feeding to sleep, but rather is my reaction normal or completely OTT??! It's not even like DS is crying!! It's just the wriggling and pushing against me seems to invoke fury out of nowhere even in middle of day when I don't feel obviously tired or anything and I don't understand why!!!
