And do you let them sleep extra in the day to make up for disturbed nights? He's 20 weeks. He'll be ready for his first nap at 8am at this rate...

Why does he still wake at 6.30 when we've been up every goddamned hour in the night??

Ours gets up at 5 without fail, regardless of when he's finally succumbed to sleep and also waking at least every hour.
It's so very hard.
