I guess I should wake him but he is sleeping so soundly.

Would you?

No! Let sleeping babies lie!

Unless you're worried about him. But if he generally feeds well, I really would let him sleep.

I never ever had this with my daughter so its completely alien to me. She woke every 3-4 hours until she was about a year and now always wakes around 6am.

He has been munching on his hand since the early hours but has not cried out or anything. Does that sound right?

Sounds fine to me. But at the end of the day, you're the mummy, and you have to go with your own instinct.

I have a 14wk old ds, who still has some days/nights that are more sleepy than others. This morning being of the lesser variety.

Well I guess another half hour wont hurt. I have to go out soon so need to feed him before we go.

Thanks

I try to not wake sleeping babies unless I really have to, like if we're going out etc. I think they sleep as much as they need.
If they were ill then thats a bit different. And as they get older sometimes sleeping too long in the day affects their night sleep....
Leave him and have a cup of tea!

Well DS has been sleeping again from 10.30 until now. Not yet awake. Amasing he must be busy growning. It means he has only had one bottle today so far. He generally feeds very well and I have no reason to worry. Im not going out again today so I have no reason to wake him.b
