5 month old rolls on belly in middle of night

So my 5 month old girl has mastered rolling onto her belly but still not able to roll back as yet. For the past couple of nights she has rolled on to belly to sleep. Just after a little reassurance really as it has given me the biggest fright. She is still in her Moses basket so I am definitely going to put her in her cot now so she has more room to roll around.

She evidently needs more room so not restricting her in a moses basket would be a good idea.

Aside from that, you don't need to prevent her from rolling over. They used to advise that if you spot baby has rolled onto their front them move them back onto their backs, but don't worry about the fact that they have rolled over. But nowadays I don't think that is even the advise.

Personally, I've rolled baby back onto her back until she was old enough that I knew she could easily roll from both back to front and also front to back.

My little one did this for weeks. Except she woke up crying everytime she had rolled. I spent so many evenings rolling her back untul like fatedestiny said i was sure she could roll back safely. Now shes 7 months and sleeps soundly on her side. Definately sounds like she could do with the extra space though.
