Won't sleep in crib - help!

It may be too son to worry, but can't get my newborn DS to settle at night. Only 3 days old - tell me it will get better!

He's happy to slep if being cuddled, but won't settle in the crib at all. Managed a few hours sleep by putting him in with us but even then he's not that happy unless he's being held. Plus I'm bfing, so feeding a lot of the time.

He's pretty placid during the day - any ideas?

Have you tried a swaddle? Had a similar prob at first with DD and the swaddle worked wonders. Think they're so used to being tightly wrapped, it's scary for them in the big wide world. Congrats on your DS and amazing you have the presence of mind to post messages. Think I was still an emotional wreck day 3!!
