Hi mums and dads,
Has anyone got any tips or explanation for dealing with my daughter who is 16 months and refuses to sleep until midnight and won't sleep in own bed?
She's always been so good then out of the blue it's changed. We tried cry it out for a bit but she gets frighteningly hysterical and fear she will pass out so can't make her stay in bed and also I have 2 year old so she wakes him when she cries too so I've given in and let her stay up. She is FULL of beans all evening and no sign of sleepiness till 11 or 12 pm. Even then she won't go to her cot and had to sleep with is. She has a good diet and Ive removed anything that I thought could causing her to behave like this and I'm out of ideas. She's with us all day and does nursery couple of times a week but loves it so doesn't seem to be bothered by that.
Anyone else has this?
Thanks so much for any help
Vic xx

We are at that stage also with our 16 month old. Its a developmental period, combined with sleep regression. Mumsnet have a few previous threads on it, unfortunately its a case of riding it out until it passes. Sorry I can't be more help x
