Dd is 11 months and was doing alot better at night.
However, with starting nursery, teething and seperation anxiety she has been unsettled again.
I started back last week. I work four days and two are 4-1am shifts. Dh also work shifts.
I have had very little sleep some nights only 3 hours. I have ds (who always slept!)
I know it will not be forever and I am adjusting going back, but my days off have been a haze of feeling ill. Any tips?

I feel your pain. I gave in and just let him sleep in with me. Also I missed him during the day so I quite liked the nighttime cuddles!

Back two weeks at four days here too, so I feel your pain. It must be very tough on shift work, though , especially doing a mixed shift pattern. Nursery has also messed up DS's sleep a bit, he's over stimulated and not napping well which is disrupting his night sleep, but I do think this phase will be short lived and he'll start sleeping ok-- they're so much more active they physically can't cope with less sleep for long (so I keep telling myself!). For now I've reverted to newborn mode and am trying to go to bed at the earliest opportunity.
Hope things improve for you soon

I think I just worked in a fog of tired. Did what I had to survive, early bedtime etc. It was hard but I survived.
