Sleep regression on holiday

We're away from home for 3 weeks, 11 month old DD has never slept through the night, but settled and slept well at home in her own room with one feed in the night around 4-5am.

Since coming away, sleeping in travel cot, her sleep has got gradually worse, waking 2-3 times in the night and crying after being put to bed. Since we've always fed her the time she does wake in the night, she can't resettle at night without milk so we're back to multiple feelings in the night.

Any advise? Has anyone else experienced this and then had things go back to normal at home? I'm just going with the flow for sanity's sake but I don't want everything to have gone to shit when we get back too!

Yes I have experienced exactly this! DD wakes several times a night when anywhere other than her own cot in her own room, even if it's when we are staying at my parents where she feels at home and knows the room well. I just haul her into bed with me the first time she wakes and hope for the best. But she is back to normal as soon as we get home; I was stressed the first holiday we went on too as I was sure she would never go back to normal!!
I think it's fairly common when they're so little (dd is 17m) but it does make holidays a bit tiring... :)

Thanks Emerald - there's hope! I guess you just don't know til you do get home but you're right it's not quite the relaxing break I was hoping for!
