Fussy Toddler waking up hungry at night

My 15 month old dd is waking up starving and drinking a full bottle once every night. The time she wakes varies and it is clear she is wanting her bottle then she normally goes straight back to sleep. The only time this changes is if we pander to her during the day and let her eat her favourite foods (currently macaroni cheese), then she eats huge amounts at tea time and sleeps through. If i try to get her to eat anything else at dinner she just eats a little bit and wakes up at night.

I don't want to give in to her fussy eating, but i'm getting quite tired. Any tips anyone??

We give our 15 month old ready brek before bed to fill him up, followed by his night time milk, he sleeps much better since we started this.

Has this effected his eating habits the rest of the time?

No not at all, sometimes he eats all his dinner and sometimes he doesn't but either way he happily munches the ready brek - he's always had a massive appetite though. We try to give dinner at 6 then ready brek about 7:30 and bed at 8 so it's all a bit spread out.

We did a similar thing with weetabix. One weetabix, no variations. No too hot or too cold or in a different bowl or with banana/honey or whatever.

Tried ready brek tonight but she only had a few spoonfuls then hardly had any of her bedtime bottle. Not optimistic about tonight! Might have to try delaying bedtime a bit to let her get hungry enough for her bottle.

Mine is now 2.9 but she did this until 18 months and then just grew out of it...but I think cutting out all snacks so she would eat full meals helped a bit too.

We've started giving our 3yo (yup, 3yo) half a banana before bed after reading an article in the ahem Daily Fail and it's working an absolute treat.

How did she sleep?

Slept all night Grin woke up with chicken pox Confused so not a good example really, that's the problem with kids, there's always a range of things that could be wrong! I'll try the banana idea too but I think my main problem is that she's not hungry enough before bed to be interested in anything other than her favourite food!
