Help - How am I going to get through today

Hello everyone been up since 4.00am with DD2, DS3 woke up at 5.00am and it is DHs lie in today until 10.00am (only 2.5 hours to go).

I just know I am going to be grumpy today and am trying to be positive, I know DH will come down at 10.00am and tell me to keep my chin up and have a positive attitude .

To make things worse I have to go to a 2 year olds birthday party at 1.00pm where super mum SIL will be there, how does she do it, dont get me wrong she is lovely (too lovely ). She gets up with the kids all the time, lets her DH sleep - "well after all he does work long hours" (her words), and still manages to be nice to everyone.

Sorry to moan I have got a fantastic DH, we take it in turns to get up (my lie in tomorrow ) but I cant help but get grumpy when I am knackered. I just know by the time I get to this party I am going to look like this and DH will be worried about saying the right thing as well as coping with talking to people.

DH has accepted that I am not like his SIL but he finds it hard to cope with me when I am moody. I tend to withdraw and am quiet.

Dont know what else to say really, too tired, roll on 8.00pm tonight hopefully by then I can put my feet up.

Positive thoughts please

I had a bad night the night before, I hate that sleep deprived feeling.

When your DH gets up, go up stairs and have a bath and and lie on the bed, if you fall asleep, great,if not you will be relaxing anyway.

Then you will be able to deal with Bree like SIL.
