Sleep

where to have naps

I have been trying to get my 3 month old to nap in her cot bed rather than her pram, as the advice out there seems to be that they learn to nap where they sleep at night? Sometimes she goes down easily with a white noise app on my phone, but other times (most)it is a real struggle and I find myself putting her back in her pram, which I can then rock, and she goes off fine. Do I need to persevere trying in the cot, do I need to not give her the pram option? Help!

Do whatever works for the time being. DD was exactly like yours at that age. There was a time when she would only nap in her pram, but she has always slept in her cot at night time. She eventually learnt to nap in her cot too. I would try the cot now and again, but have the pram on standby.
