That's it really. Can you tell me when they wake, sleep and eat?

Thanks

HelloSmile I can tell you about my 15 month old and would say routine is pretty similar from a month ago....
Wake anytime between 6-7am, let her play/chat in cot til closest to 7 as
poss, has bottle of milk, (which she is less interested in now)
Breakfast 7.30/8ish,
Snack 10ish,
Sleep 11.30/12 ish
I always offer lunch before sleep but she's usually too tired.
Up and lunch about 1.15 ish
Snack 3ish
Dinner at 5
Bath at 6 followed by bottle and bed

Sleep through the night ( mostlyWink)

Thanks sea.

So how long would you say your lo naps for in the day? 1 hour 15/30mins? Is that right?

Also what time do you aim to have him/her in bed for?

Sorry for all the questions I hope you don't mind?! I just can't seem to get it right with my dd.

Thank you

My DS is nearly 16 months and his routine is largely similar to what it was at 14 months.

Wake up around 6am- milk
Breakfast at 8am
Snack (fruit) at 10am
Lunch at midday with a 60-90 min sleep after.
Snack at 2
Tea at 4.30
Bath at 5.45
Milk followed by bed at 6.20.

There are variations of this. Sometimes he will have 2 short naps rather than 1 long one, sometimes he will go to sleep later etc...

No worries, she sleeps about 1hr 15 mins usually, sometimes more if I'm lucky! And bed time is about 6.45/7.
What do u feel is not working right for your dc? Xx

Thanks sea.

Well our rough routine was/is

7ish - wake
change and play
8am - milk followed by weetabix
9am - piece of toast
10-11 - nap
12.30 - lunch
2.45-3.45- nap (I put her down earlier than this but she takes ages to fall asleep)
snak when she wakes
5.00pm - dinner
6.15pm - bath
6.30/45 - milk
6.45/7 - bed

But dd is taking ages to fall asleep in pm and sometimes at bt too.

I've tried one nap but she too only sleeps about 1hr 15mins and then seems to get too OT which builds up over a few days and results in her being restless and waking at night and then earlier in the morning. This then leads me back to introduce 2 naps again to get rid of the OT and the cycle begins again.

Hope that makes sense?

Any advise welcome.

Thanks

Yes definitely makes sense! I think it's a hard transition from two naps to one & I was so reluctant to commit to it (I loved her morning nap time soooo much!) I would still say she would go down for a nap from anywhere after 10.30 but I try & string her out as long as possible, going out helps! She's usually pretty exhausted by bt & I suppose we do have some unsettled nights & early mornings too but I usually put it down to teeth rather than OT but it could be I guess. It will get easier as she gets older I think, fx xx
