My DD is 9 months old. I feel like I am banging my head against a brick wall all the time with regards to sleep. Basically she eats very well, takes milk well (hasnt dropped any milk feeds yet) and naps well I think). Bedtime/through the night is a complete nightmare and its grinding me down as I am exhausted.

She has had the cold but is over it now and I am sure this has all come about because of this. Her wee nose was stuffed up, at night she would only last so long before needing to sit up due to gunge from lying down. Cot was propped up, used Karvol etc etc. She just wanted cuddled, and I couldn't say no when she was unwell.

She wakes lots during the night, anywhere from twice through to 5 or 6 times at its worse. I know its a bad but I pick her up as she just screams. Then after that she wakes at the lovely 5 am. Sometimes its been 4am. (She has always been an early riser and we have never managed to fix that).

Our routine is like this....

Get up 5am.
Milk 6.30am.
Breakfast 7.30/8am.
Nap 9am - 10/10.30am.
Lunch 12noon/12.30.
Milk 2pm.
Nap 2.30pm - 3.30/4pm sometimes 4.30pm.
Tea 4.30pm.
Bath 5.30pm.
Last Milk Feed 6.30/7 latest.

We have been trying this week to put her to bed awake (before I would hold her till she dropped off), she initially cries then does go off with Dummy and comforter.

Between going to bed and 10pm i usually have to see to her (she either has wind or her dummy has fallen out). Then through the night she wakes up. Tried feeding, tried more food during day and less, more clothes, less clothes etc etc.

Am I way off the mark with my routine. Do you think its a sleep regression? Bad habit? Help needed please.

Any questions ask me as I have prob missed something out.

Thanks in advance.
