ForeverOptimistic Thu 02-Oct-08 11:37:13

Fourtyplus I am in the town with 500 Costa coffee shops with the canal that runs through it. Where are you?

I think Theo lives in Felden but he is often in our high street and always happy to sign autographs.

londontipton Thu 02-Oct-08 11:37:50

what a shame, he was bit of a hero of mine....

Can second negative reports about Michael Greco (Beppe), my ex let a flat to him and remarked how sleazy he was...

ranting Thu 02-Oct-08 11:37:56

Vic Reeves one held a door open for me, I thought he was ok actually, obviously caught him on a good day.

Tutter Thu 02-Oct-08 11:38:48

van morrison very rude according to friend who served him coffee once

but i believe his grumpiness not a secret

sad when you think of his lovely lyrics

TheCrackFox Thu 02-Oct-08 11:39:02

Danni Minogue is a cock.

Tutter Thu 02-Oct-08 11:39:17

john leslie also very sleazy with a friend

(no shit, tutter)

taliac Thu 02-Oct-08 11:40:20

Robbie is actually lovely.

But he does have ishoos.

ForeverOptimistic Thu 02-Oct-08 11:41:36

I expect he was drunk London. He is probably very nice when sober.

londontipton Thu 02-Oct-08 11:41:49

Terry Venables still owes a FOF a great deal of money (allegedly) for some work he did. Meant to be quite charming though!

ranting Thu 02-Oct-08 11:43:28

Why does that not surprise me about Terry Venables!

I did once serve Sylvester McCoy and he was a bit of a Spanner to put it mildly.

Jennifer Saunders a bit bristly (not facially, in manner I mean) but think she';s quite private/shy

londontipton Thu 02-Oct-08 11:45:52

Sylvester M was my least favourite Doctor...

Simon Callow is one of the nicest human beings I have ever met (forgets thread title..)

ranting Thu 02-Oct-08 11:48:08

Barry Cryer was reassuringly grumpy, as you'd expect.

GentleOtter Thu 02-Oct-08 11:50:42

Harry H Corbett who was the the original Sooty and Sweep man told my little brother and I to fuck off. We did not know what he meant as we were six and four at the time. sad

turquoise Thu 02-Oct-08 11:51:09

No Vic Reeves is a total tool. Drunk or sober.

My friend - a newly single mum desperately trying to make ends meet after her husband walked out - was once doing a Sunday lunch shift at a gastropub in Primrose Hill. Three very well known locals came in (one a famous model -another the wife of a famous actor) and sat at her main table for five hours. She fussed round them all afternoon - and they walked out without paying. She had to cover it out of her meagre earnings.
Every time I see them in a magazine talking about how they manage to juggle their career and motherhood I want to scream.

Jim Bowen (bullseye) is a mean drunk according to my FIL
