Me, but the autumn is ages away!

witchwithallthetrimmings Wed 01-Feb-12 13:45:47

does this mean she's better? (not helen) marian

hermionestranger Wed 01-Feb-12 13:45:52

Me! Has anyone seen the baking book yet? Thoughts?

Dillydollydaydream Wed 01-Feb-12 13:47:41

Ooh wondered when she'd release Helen's story.
I've read all the other books, well apart from Angels just skimmed through that.

mycatsaysach Wed 01-Feb-12 13:49:22

it sounds from her newsletter she has been busy (baking book out and helen book nearly ready) so guess she may be doing ok at the mo

scrablet Wed 01-Feb-12 13:49:54

Love her books. Autumn is ages away tho', hope MK is better now.

hermionestranger Wed 01-Feb-12 13:50:45

I love angels! It's my second favourite after anybody out there.

ArtexMonkey Wed 01-Feb-12 13:54:07

Looking forward to that!

Faverolles Wed 01-Feb-12 13:56:41

Yay! A book about Helen! At last grin

EdwardorEricCantDecide Wed 01-Feb-12 13:56:51

I loved rachels holiday but was years ago I read it, agree autumn is ages away.

OhMissJones Wed 01-Feb-12 13:59:10

Hurray! I love Marian, peeves me that she is dismissed as "chick lit" when actually she can WRITE.

Glad she's getting better, I think Rachel's Holiday in particular showed that she really does understand the dark side of life, poor love. I wasn't keen on her last one but I do tend to prefer Walsh books, I think Angels is probably my favourite.

mycatsaysach Wed 01-Feb-12 13:59:27

oh yes rachels holiday def my fave grin

hazelnutlatte Wed 01-Feb-12 14:00:04

Ooh i was wondering when Helen was going to get a book! I hope Marian keeps the character as she is portrayed in the earlier books - I was a bit disappointed with Anna's personality transplant in 'anybody out there' although it was still a good book

hermionestranger Wed 01-Feb-12 14:00:35

Rachel's holiday is fab! I adore the Walsh books. Going to pre order the new one! gringringringringrin

SomebodySaveMe Wed 01-Feb-12 14:00:58

I've been waiting years for a Helen book!

yellowraincoat Wed 01-Feb-12 14:01:02

I love her too. It's shit that she is dismissed as chick lit, I agree. There are some really dark things going on in her stories - This Charming Man was terrifying and portrayed abuse so well.

Love her! Hope she is on the mend.

I started reading Lucy Sullivan but it didnt seem to go anywhere, it was very slow. I didnt finish it.

RedBlanket Fri 03-Feb-12 21:24:54

This must mean she's better! Good for her

I thought she would never write a Helen book. Rachels holiday is one

RedBlanket Fri 03-Feb-12 21:25:53

Get stupid iPhone

Rachels holiday is one of my favourite books, Ive read it so many times.

hairypotter Fri 03-Feb-12 21:30:44

Brilliant news! I love all her books. Last chance saloon is my favourite then rachel's holiday next.

Is Helen the last Walsh to get a book? I can only remember 3 of the sisters so far. I'm sure there was 5?

I can think of watermelon, angels and rachel's holiday? Am I missing one?
