I am pleased for them, specially Alex as he had to put up with so much "firing blanks" bullshit when he was with Jordan!!

I am pleased for them that the IVF obviously worked but I was confused by their lack of understanding/knowledge of the ivf procedure when they were all over the magazines talking about it.

I don't like to think of anyone having conception difficulties but was always quite suspicious of her selling every part of their IVF 'journey' to the press, particularly when it sounded not quite right.

oh, just read it... seems like it was a natural conception? Really odd. I thought, from the last interview I read, that they were in the middle of an IVF cycle which would have ment abstaining from sex and having a test to make sure she wasn't already pregnant. Maybe they were bluffing to throw people off the scent?

I am really pleased for them but I have no idea why confused. I think it's because it's a bit of a two fingers to KP.

cantgetlaidingermany Tue 15-Nov-11 17:05:41

Well thats a brilliant reason to have a baby after 6 months together because KP will be upset, ffs why don't these people ever think.

When I had IVF they asked me how long I had been with my partner, the point being that I had to show it was an established relationship. I am guessing things are different if you do it privately?

It isnt an IVF pregnancy. The article says that she did a test before she started the treatment!!

Oh god, who will help the poor child with its homework!?!?

Scoundrel Tue 15-Nov-11 17:25:40

Seeing as how this isn't a real relationship I'm wondering who the father might be.

LissTheSeasonLouBeJolly Tue 15-Nov-11 17:30:41

dueling, yep re the "how long" questions. I went for an appt at our clinic last month without dh as he was called into work, and they wouldnt see me without him, because of hospital policy and treatment regulations.

LOts of people conceive babies very early in relationships (blush) that's not in itself a problem. Of course this particular relationship has a whole load of other issues.......but getting up the duff quickly isn't necessarily one of them.

<snogs NL> yep, all it takes is one good swimmer to be in the right place, at the right time.

CupOfBrownJoy Tue 15-Nov-11 17:44:43

LissTheSeasonLouBeJolly Tue 15-Nov-11 18:04:47

RedBlanket Tue 15-Nov-11 20:55:56

I'm a bit embarrassed about how pleased I am for them both.

HalfTermHero Tue 15-Nov-11 21:37:42

I am also surprisingly pleased for them! Both have had a rough ride with previous loveless relationships and heartbreak following marriage breakdowns. Good for them. I hope that they are very happy together!

Seeing as slebs don't tend to gain much weight when they're pg, I reckon that's getting on for 6 months gone.

I mean, how big is a 3 month old foetus, the size of a lemon or something?

RickGhastley Fri 16-Dec-11 18:40:03

Erm I was that size at 3 months - but then it was my 3rd pregnancy!
