My style icon is Zara Phillips. I know she is not a sleb but she looks normal, wears normal clothes and is sporty and elegant at the same time, whilst being practical and not image obsessed. I might be wrong about her but I think she is lovely and dresses beautifully.

I saw her in the flesh when I was in Toronto a few years ago. She is not beautiful but incredibly elegant and wears clothes like I have never seen anyone wear clothes. She has a poise and posture - I can't explain it - the overall impression was "stunning" although, as you say , she is not beautiful in any usual sense.
