Have been following the threads, but there is no definitive answer. Someone, somewhere must actually know - unless she really is making it up?

Is she that tedious woman who wrote about her husband and divorce in the Daily Mail?

Do tell me what now?

Well, according to a recent Twitter message, it is Jim Kerr, of Simple Minds. I find that impossible to swallow, seeing as previously he's been married to both Chrissie Hynde (striking) and Patsy Kensit (gorgeous), then decides to pursue and bed Liz Jones (er... er...).

jim kerr would burst her, his manhood is legendary...

pagwatch Tue 14-Sep-10 09:05:05

two massive pricks in one relationship

Aitch Tue 14-Sep-10 09:24:45

lol

I guess he's getting older and less famous so probably has to lower his standards now.

OMG - Jim Kerr! I was wondering...

Mind you, he's probably no great catch these days.

Not that I ever fancied him - but at least 20 years ago he was a youngish current rock star!

I missed this (and the thing about his manhood), what did the tweet say?

paisleyleaf Wed 15-Sep-10 18:30:36

"Mind you, he's probably no great catch these days."
funny you should say that....

Aitch Wed 15-Sep-10 19:25:00

he's much better looking now than he was then, plus he has scads and scads of cash thanks to some nifty property deals...

TheCrackFox Wed 15-Sep-10 19:37:14

Who was the Twitter message from?

Helsbelsandbuckets Tue 02-Nov-10 08:51:04

Oh you're all so mean grin;I feel sorry for her. Didn't you read that one about her cat dying, it really was awfully moving, I blubbed for ages. She is not that bad if she loves animals more than humans, that's just sensible!

valiumskeleton Tue 02-Nov-10 08:54:20

He looks like a million other pasty-faced blokes in my home town. My postman is better looking than jim kerr.

She's a moaner but she makes good points about the fashion industry. And she loves animals...

jacksmomma Tue 02-Nov-10 20:34:38

i really dont like her , i used to read her column and felt sorry for her then i just got annoyed with her moaning then i read that she thinks most sales assistants are no better than her dogs and a person who works in a shop is no catch , i used to work in john lewis and debenhams and it amazed me how many people treat shop assistants like crap , my dh works in a department store and is the kindest sweetest funniest most loyal person i have ever met the polar opposite of ms jones ex with the flash job maybes she should think before she goes slagging off people who she thinks are beneath her simply because of the job they do

rant over

PompeyDot Wed 03-Nov-10 12:20:14

Christ, he must have had bear goggles on or something, she's ghastly!

LeQueen Wed 03-Nov-10 16:48:28

Yes, I wonder what she sees in the multi millionaire Jim Kerr hmm

Helsbelsandbuckets Fri 05-Nov-10 10:22:47

But are we sure it IS Jim Kerr? More clues in this weeks column, she says he is a member of AA and her favourite song of his is one about him falling in love with his ex wife (so he is more the singer-songwriter type) Anyway, you're supposed to be most attracted to someone the same level of attractiveness as yourself, so that might be a clue for us too. Always thought Jim Kerr bit mingin but kind sad face..bit like her?

PompeyDot Fri 05-Nov-10 10:37:14

Maybe its Eric Clapton - who wrote "Layla" and "Beautiful Tonight" about his ex wife!

aristomache Fri 05-Nov-10 10:38:27

Did you know that Jim Kerr is spanish, and was originally named Juan?

sharbie Fri 05-Nov-10 10:43:08

grin don't you forget about me - who was this about patsy or chrissie?

Emmgee Fri 05-Nov-10 10:44:35

i always thought it was keith richards lol

He wasnt with Patsy when he wrote that in circa 1985. He had just split with Chrissie i think! confused

giddycat Fri 05-Nov-10 10:46:29

I straight away thought Eric Clapton but then came to my senses, I mean really!! (hmm)

stillbobbysgirl Fri 05-Nov-10 10:49:18
