Hi, I've been given the job of finding accommodation for 6 people (3 couples) at this resort. We will be getting seperate flights. I know nothing about the resort and wondered if anyone had any recommendations? Thanks.

Thats a shame about the one you know. We are 6 adults (children being left at home so it is only for a long weekend - just realised that is crucial info). Reason Alpe D'huez is because we are coming from different places - Scotland / London and so someone decided that was cheaply accessible for all of us. I am assuming that it is also a short transfer from Grenoble to there but havent looked into it. We can all ski so would probably just get the odd private lesson. Would like to be near some nightlife but doesnt need to be too lively as all 40 something and just like nice food and drink more than bar diving!! Thanks for your help.

Thanks Directskiandsun.
Was thinking we might be better to hire get somewhere for the week and only use part of it as it doesnt really have to be a weekend - its only shorter so that we're not away from the children for too long. Will speak to friends and see what they think about other resorts - I had thought Geneva would be easy for everyone to get to, and will then get back to you on your website. Thanks.
